Shipping policy

DELIVERY OF GOODS

1. Time of delivery is not of the essence of the Contract. Any date for delivery provided by Magnum MFG is an estimate only and subject to change.
2. Magnum MFG will endeavour to deliver the Goods by any estimated delivery date but will not be liable for any loss, damage or delay occasioned by failure to deliver on any estimated delivery date.
3. Delivery of the Goods will take place when the Customer takes possession of the Goods, either:
3.1 by collecting the Goods from Magnum MFG’s business premises;
3.2 by delivery of the Goods to the Customer’s nominated address;
3.3 if the Customer has nominated a carrier to pick up the Goods, when the carrier has taken possession of the Goods in which event the carrier is deemed to be the Customer’s agent, or
3.4 as otherwise agreed upon in writing between Magnum MFG and the Customer.
4. If the Customer is unable to take delivery of the Goods under clause 7.3 as arranged, Magnum MFG will be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for the redelivery of the Goods.
5. Unless stated otherwise, the cost of delivery is not included in the Price for the Goods.
6. Delivery of the Goods to a third party nominated by the Customer is deemed to be delivery to the Customer for the purposes of these Terms & Conditions.
7. Magnum MFG may, in its sole discretion, deliver the Goods by separate instalments.
8. Where the Customer expressly requests Magnum MFG to deliver the Goods to an unattended location, such Goods will be left at the nominated location at the Customer's sole risk.
9. The failure of by Magnum MFG to deliver the Goods or any of the Goods will not entitle either party to treat these Terms & Conditions as repudiated.
10. Magnum MFG will not be liable for any loss or damage due to failure by Magnum MFG to deliver any of the Goods promptly or at all as a result of circumstances beyond the control of Magnum MFG.

Shipping Information

We deliver products using Australia Post, Sendle, StarTrack, Followmont,, Toll and Northline. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. There is also a calculator on each item page allowing you to calculate the cost to deliver that item to your postcode.

Orders are generally dispatched on the same or next business day after receiving payment. Shipping times are estimated at between 1 and 7 business days depending on your location.

Shipping Insurance

Options for shipping that include insurance are provided at checkout. If this option is not selected, the item/s will not be insured against loss or damage during transit and Magnum MFG will not be able to make a claim on your behalf.

Unless stated otherwise freight is uninsured. It is the buyers' responsibility to insure uninsured freight. We suggest nti for freight insurance. A quote can be done online at https://insurance-sdi.nti.com.au/#/quote/get-quote and is quite inexpensive.

Magnum MFG directs that before items are signed for at delivery as “having been received in good order and condition” that the item/s are inspected and if satisfied that they are in good order and condition, they can be signed for. If damage has occurred Magnum MFG advises either noting on the “Proof of Delivery” or POD, that the item was not received in good order, or declining to accept the item due to damage. We cannot discuss or negotiate with our carriers if you have not noted the damage on their paperwork and taken delivery of the item/s.” It is recommended that photos of the damage are taken at delivery as well before unboxing the items.

In addition, the freight company will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the product/s without insurance.

Magnum MFG will assist with an insurance claim if shipping insurance was selected at checkout and:

we are notified by the purchaser of any damage within 24 hours of receiving the item/s photos are emailed to sales@magnummfg.com.au clearly showing the damage to the item/s and to the packaging if any we are notified by the purchaser at least 36 hours after the ETA has passed and the product/s has not arrived - in this case, a Magnum MFG representative will make appropriate enquiries with the freight company as to the whereabouts of the item/s. After being satisfied that the item/s have been lost, Magnum MFG will make the necessary insurance claim on behalf of the customer.

Despatch

Shipping times are estimated at between 1 and 7 business days depending on your location. ETA is provided once the order has been manifested for collection.

Many of Magnum MFG’s products require a forklift to move. A service with Tail lift availability option is available for customers that do not have an onsite forklift to unload. It is the responsibility of the customer to select the correct shipping method for their situation failure to do so can result in delays or additional charges for delivery.
